Binh Thuan looks to stimulate tourism

 

According to figures, 80 percent of tourism service providers have now resumed operations. And tourists have begun to return to Binh Thuan, particularly “hot spots” such as Mui Ne and Hon Rom.

The preferences of domestic holidaymakers have changed. They now prefer small, private tours rather than large groups.

Tourism companies have introduced many attractive promotional programs, offering discounts of up to 50 percent.

Tourists beginning to return to Binh Thuan is a positive sign for the local tourism sector. Tourism companies, however, need to work together to create more tourism products and attract more visitors./.

Son Tra Peninsula to become national tourism area

The Son Tra National Tourism Area is located on Son Tra Peninsula, Tho Quang Precinct, Son Tra District, Da Nang, around 10km from the city centre. The tourism site is planned to cover 1,056 hectares, accounting for one fourth of Son Tra District’s area. Three service centres will be built in three gateways of the Son Tra Peninsula, while areas serving eco tourism , entertainment, sports and sight-seeing will be developed, including a flower and herbal park, a wildlife rescue centre, a safari park, a camping area and sight-seeing points. Da Nang aims to develop Son Tra National Tourism Area based on the reasonable exploitation of sea and forest resources, with priority on eco tourism , sports, resorts and cultural/spiritual tourism , boosting the growth of other service sectors. Pets in Vietnam Receive Specialized Medical Care

Pet cats and dogs experiencing symptoms such as fever, convulsions, and shortness of breath, swallowing foreign objects, or sustaining injuries need immediate treatment, according to veterinarians. Vet Ngo Minh Nhut at Bee Pet Clinic in Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City, said that he has treated several pets suffering from injuries caused by motorbike crashes, poisoning, and gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Countless pets that had eye injuries and experienced miscarriages, hematuria, coma, and hypocalcemia received emergency care at the clinic, he added. Two months ago, he treated a dog that had a broken pelvis while trying to escape from dog thieves. “I once treated a malnourished German shepherd abandoned in Long An Province [near Ho Chi Minh City]. The dog, who suffered from serious eczema, was brought to the clinic for treatment by a kind woman,” he recounted.
