Nine Vietnamese Children Paintings Compete in International Contest in Japan

The announcement of the group of artworks occurred at a recent award ceremony for the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest in Vietnam.

A total of 150 Vietnamese children were named winners of the contest, with 15 first place, 15 second place, 30 third place, and 90 consolation prizes awarded to the most exceptional entries.

The contest was launched in September 2023 by Toyota Vietnam in partnership with the ‘Thieu nien Tien phong va Nhi dong’ (Young Pioneers and Children) Newspaper, targeting children aged eight to sixteen from all regions of the country.

The organizing committee reported an overwhelming response from students, receiving over 550,000 submissions.

The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been held annually by the Toyota Motor Corporation since 2004. Since then, the event has attracted the participation of eight million children from 140 countries and territories worldwide. The contest has been held in Vietnam since 2011.
