Free Birthday Entry Tickets at Ho Chi Minh City Zoo

In celebration of its establishment on March 23, 1864, the Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens is showing its appreciation to the residents of the southern metropolis and tourists for their support through a series of programs, as reported by Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper.

During these programs, the zoo is offering free entry passes for those who have birthdays in March, as well as gifting visitors with key rings adorned with the zoo’s logo on March 23 and 24.

Furthermore, individuals who were born on March 23 will receive an additional special gift.

Established in 1864, the Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens is one of the oldest zoos in the world, with a rich history. It is home to more than 2,000 animals from 135 different species, including rare creatures like crested argus, red-shanked douc, yellow-cheeked gibbon, Indian hog deer, and Asian golden cats. The zoo also boasts over 2,500 plant species.

Over the years, the zoo has successfully bred several rare species in captivity.
