A Week of Vietnamese Culture in Scandinavia

The upcoming event marks a significant milestone: 55 years of strong diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Sweden, with a cultural celebration extending to Denmark.

This cross-country collaboration will feature performances by talented artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music, alongside international performers. The shows will showcase a diverse range of musical styles, including traditional Vietnamese instruments, jazz, and classical music, creating a unique blend of cultures.

As part of the celebrations, a special music gala will be held in Stockholm to commemorate the 55th anniversary of Vietnam-Sweden diplomatic relations. This gala promises to be a highlight of the event, bringing together the very best of both countries’ musical heritage.

Additionally, Vietnamese artists will participate in a cultural exchange at the Malmö Academy of Music in Sweden. This exchange will foster a deeper understanding and friendship between the two nations, providing a platform for artistic dialogue and collaboration.

The Vietnam Culture and Arts Exhibition Center, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, will also play a crucial role in this event. They will organize photo exhibitions in Sweden and Denmark, showcasing the vibrant and diverse culture of Vietnam. These exhibitions will offer foreign audiences a unique glimpse into the daily lives and breathtaking landscapes of Vietnam, promoting cultural appreciation and exchange.

The event will also include a Vietnam-Sweden trade and investment promotion forum, a ceremony commemorating Vietnam’s 79th National Day on September 2, and a traditional Ao Dai fashion show. These additional components will further strengthen the bonds between the countries and showcase the very best of Vietnam’s culture, business opportunities, and national pride.
